Students begin by immersing in practical, everyday vocabulary and gradually gain the confidence to express simple ideas in short sentences.Through engaging lessons with singing, games, movement, and interactive activities, children absorb the language naturally while having fun, develop a clear Spanish accent and a meaningful appreciation for Latin culture. They will learn useful topics such as greetings, colors, numbers, opposites, verbs, weather, and food. Each theme is paired with functional sentence structures that help children use in real communication. This playful, immersive approach keeps students motivated and builds a strong foundation for continued Spanish learning.

Skill Level: Your child knows the practical everyday vocabulary outlined in the Beginners 1 level description.

Students will continue to enhance their foundational skills, expand their vocabulary, and combine their words to articulate simple thoughts effectively in and outside class. They will construct more elaborate and detailed sentences. Additionally, they will learn common language structures in Spanish, such as ‘I have/I don’t have…’, ‘I like/I don’t like…’, ‘I am/I am not…’, encouraging conversations about everyday life situations.

Skill Level: Your child already knows everyday Spanish vocabulary and can comfortably speak in sentences of 6–7 words or more.

This level is ideal for students who are ready to build on that strong foundation and use Spanish more actively and confidently in conversation. Students continue expanding their vocabulary by learning new adjectives, nouns, and verbs, allowing them to express their ideas with greater detail and accuracy. At this stage, essential reading and writing skills are also introduced, helping students connect the language they speak with the language they read and write. This class helps students strengthen their confidence, refine their communication skills, and continue progressing toward greater fluency in Spanish while deepening their understanding of Latin culture.

Building on this foundation, students refine their language skills, expand their vocabulary, and explore new topics, allowing them to express ideas with greater detail and accuracy. They also strengthen their reading and writing by creating simple sentences and short paragraphs to communicate their thoughts and ideas, while developing a deeper understanding of Latin culture and the 20 Spanish-speaking countries around the world. This level helps students deepen their language skills and grow in confidence as Spanish communicators.

Skill Level: At this level, your child has an extensive Spanish vocabulary and can comfortably converse about everyday situations.

They can also read and write sentences to express their ideas and thoughts with their peers. Students will continue building on their strong foundation by learning new topics, sentence structures, and action verbs while practicing essential verb conjugations. Conversation is a central focus, helping students improve fluency, confidence, and pronunciation. They will also explore the 20 Spanish-speaking countries around the world, discovering fun facts and cultural traditions that deepen their connection to the Spanish-speaking world.

Skill Level: Your child is enrolled in a bilingual school or speaks Spanish at home.
